Mikael D.Z. Kimelman, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Department Chairperson & Associate Professor

Dr. Kimelman is an Associate Professor and is the founding Chairperson of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. He received his doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, his master's degree from the University of Florida, and his bachelor's degree from the California State University, Hayward.

Catherine Brumbaugh, M.A., CCC-SLP
Clinical Instructor

Mrs. Brumbaugh is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. She serves as faculty liaison for graduate students at off campus medical and educational externships. She received her master's and bachelor's degrees from Bowling Green State University.

Yang Chen, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor

Dr. Yang Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. He received his doctoral and master's degrees from the University of Connecticut, and his bachelor's degree from Najing University.


Lori J. Marra, M.A., CCC-SLP
Clinical Instructor

Mrs. Marra is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. She received her bachelor's degree from Duquesne University and her master's degree from Kent State University.

Annette A. Neff, M.S., CCC-SLP
Clinical Instructor

Mrs. Annette Neff is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. She received her master's degree from Pennsylvania State University and her bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Gary J. Rentschler, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Clinic Director & Assistant Professor

Dr. Rentschler serves as Director of the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. He received his doctorate and masters degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College.

Susan E. Snyder, Au.D., CCC-A
Clinical Instructor

Dr. Susan Snyder is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. She earned her doctorate from the Arizona School of Health Sciences and received her master's and bachelor's degrees from Michigan State University.

Caterina F. Staltari, M.A., CCC-SLP
Clinical Instructor

Mrs. Staltari is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. She received her master's and bachelor's degrees in Communication Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh.

Diane L. Williams, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Dr. Diane Williams is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. She received her doctoral degree from Bowling Green State University, her master's degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and her bachelor's degree from Auburn University. Her areas of interest and expertise include autism, developmental language disorders, and augmentative communication.
