The most important components of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology are its people: faculty, staff and students. It is the people who work in the Department that give the program its excellence, that help students achieve their goals, and make the Department an enjoyable place to work and learn.

The faculty of the Department are recognized for their scholarship, teaching, and clinical skills. Faculty members are committed to the mission of the University through:

  • Teaching the most current information using state-of-the-art techniques.

  • Producing scholarship that generates knew knowledge and sharing that knowledge with local, national and international professional and scientific communities.

  • Providing service to our students, our university, our profession and discipline, and to our communities.

The staff members of the Department are equally committed to the mission of the University. They provide the support and infrastructure for the teaching, scholarship, and service activities of the Department. Staff members work closely with students helping them succeed in the classroom and the clinic.
