Freshmen usually follow the standard departmental
five-year curriculum: university Core Curriculum,
departmental prerequisite requirements, and other
courses are designed to give students a complete
well-rounded liberal arts education. In addition,
students are free to take additional elective
coursework toward a minor degree or for personal
interest. And of course, students may add collegiate
sports, extracurricular activities and service
projects to their schedule to make their academic
career as fun and fulfilling as possible.
Because several of the courses required for the
speech-language pathology major are sequential
it is critical that students plan appropriately.
Students who are interested in any option that
might require a variation in their plan of study
should seek early guidance from their Academic
Advisor and the Department Chairperson.
