Pursuing a Master of Science Degree

While many of our graduate students have matriculated through the first three years of our five-year program we welcome students who enter the master's degree program with an undergraduate degree in the discipline from another university. These students broaden and enrich the learning experience for our students and faculty.

Students who have earned an undergraduate degree in speech-language pathology or communication sciences and disorders from another university may apply for admission to the two-year six-semester Master of Science program.

Students who want to be eligible for Pennsylvania State teacher certification in Special Education as a Teacher of the Speech and Language Impaired will need to take two courses in addition to those of the master's degree curriculum.
