Organizations dedicated to addressing the needs of people who stutter, families of children and adolescents who stutter, and speech-language pathologists working in the area of stuttering. Click on their logo to visit the site.

National Stuttering Association is a nationally organized support group for people (of all ages) who stutter and their families. NSA has local chapters in many US cities, including Pittsburgh, that meet on a regular basis. NSA also provides support in newsletters, projects and a national convention. Stuttering Foundation of America is a non-profit organization providing information and educational materials for clinicians, people who stutter and their family. SFA provides high quality written and video materials (in many languages) about stuttering topics at a very nominal fee. Clinician training and a referral list of speech-language pathologist providing stuttering therapy is available. Friends is a support group focusing on children and adolescents who stutter and their family. Friends offers workshops, informational materials and an annual convention for people who stutter and speech-language pathologist. Their website is located at www.friendswhostutter.org
