Datacollection for many research studies is conducted
in the Duquesne University Speech-Language-Hearing
Clinic. Other investigations collect data in community
settings in the Pittsburgh region, in other parts
of this country, and around the world. Faculty
share space in two large laboratories, the Speech
Research Laboratory and the Language Research
Laboratory. In these laboratoies faculty researchers
and their student research assistants analyze
and interpret data from thir various projects.
Interested students have opportunities to become
involved in research
and sometimes to earn a few extra dollars in the
process.
