Student Resource Room

As part of the clinical education portion of the program, students learn to write clinical evaluation reports, treatment reports and updates, discharge summaries, therapy notes, treatment plans, etc. Students also learn to analyze client data. Because client information and records are highly confidential, students must do all this work within the confines of the Clinic. That’s why a comfortable, convenient and secure room has been provided.

The Student Resource Room has six computers wired to the Internet via very fast T3 connections and networked to a laser printer. It also houses two TV/VCR workstations. In this secure environment, students plan assessment and treatment sessions, prepare their clinical documentation, review videotapes of their clinical sessions, and work on group and individual classroom and clinic projects. Each student is assigned both a mailbox and filing cabinet space.
